Days can pass by in a blur and leave us feeling; "What did I DO today?" yet we haven't had a moment to ourselves... It can leave us feeling feeling busy but unproductive. 😴
I tend to refer to a very basic time-tracking exercise to help reclaim control.
"Awareness is the greatest agent for change..."
✍️ Tempted to get started too?
1. Set Up a Tracker
Use a notebook or a simple spreadsheet with days down the side and hours or categories across the top. Don't overthink it or this is where you will already lose way too much time!
2. Define Categories
Group your activities (e.g., Admin, Marketing, Family, Leisure) and assign each a color.
3. Estimate and Track
First, create a rough pie chart of where you *think* your time goes. Then, log daily activities without overthinking—just build the habit.
4. Review Your Month
Tally up your time, create a final pie chart, and compare it with your initial guess. Does it align with your goals?
👀 This simple exercise offers insight into where your time truly goes and helps you focus on what matters most. Good luck!
