That happened to me recently, and it didn't feel great to say the least.

I had mixed up a few details for one of the workshops due to a change we made to it initially, with plenty of time. But the chain of actions I needed to put in place to reflect the changes were not done well. I went too fast... 🙄

As a result, both the location was not correct for some people and there was a mix up in the timing causing some confusion as we got started.

It was not the end of the world, and the workshop went well thanks to our fantastic facilitator, but it had me feeling very silly, embarrassed and angry at myself.

The thing is.... we all drop a ball at one point in time don't we?
Much as we try to stay on top of everything, it can happen. At least that's what I would tell someone. 
And if we never want to fail, we might as well do nothing at all to avoid the risk...

So why is it hard to apply that for myself?

I don't have an answer but I did think it was interesting to simply share the experience for...

We have recently started introducing challenges for our Tuesday coworking mornings.

At our Tuesday coworking mornings, we’ve introduced a game-changing twist: shared challenges.

It all started when one member declared she’d dedicate the session to tackling her backlog of follow-ups.

As it turned out, she wasn’t alone in feeling overwhelmed by the mounting tasks. Inspired by her initiative, we embraced the idea of challenges as a way to foster focus and productivity.

Here’s how it works: We chose a focus for the morning and communicate it to our members. Be it clearing emails, planning a project, or brainstorming ideas.
The collective energy of the group, paired with a shared sense of purpose, creates an atmosphere of accountability and motivation.
It's of course also possible to come along and work on something unrelated!

Shared challenges help us tackle tasks we’ve been procrastinating on but also reduce the sense of isolation that often comes with running a business. Knowing others ...

Last November for the first time I held a stand at the Forum de la Nouvelle Economie that the city of Gland organises every year.

It was an opportunity to meet so many local businesses and creative people with over 30 stands this year of which B-inspired shared one with Isabelle Nicolas from Prêt à Parler online French courses.

The ambiance was energetic, active and we were all feeling curious to learn more about what everyone else is doing. 

Gland promotes the circular economy, but they don’t just do that. They walk the talk and make a real difference to the local businesses starting up, helping them move pas that initial hurdle of getting some momentum not only with financing but also by optimizing resources and actively creating synergies.

The good news is, making these things happen lies within our control. They are choices we make every day.
